Nike Blazer Mid '77 Vintage and Sky Force 3/4 "Red & Blue" Equip Snakeskin Swooshes
Basketball shoes from Nike's early days, the Blazer (first released in 1973), and the Sky Force (debuted a decade later in 1983) have grown into popular casual choices. Now, Blazer Mid '77 Vintage and Sky Force 3/4 styles have been presented together in a "Red & Blue" pack with alternating branded hits.
Both pairs are built from a sharp, unadorned white leather. However, this simple base is merely a canvas for the pack's signature accents: brightly-colored snakeskin Swooshes. Lateral sides offer this embellishment in a warm red, while medial sides go for a cooler blue. Both interpolate black flecks for added texture, and each pair also offers black heel branding plus red/blue insole graphics.
In a somewhat surprising twist, Blazers do away with standard suede overlays in favor of a full leather assemblage, though the signature exposed foam tongue remains intact. The Sky Force retains its standard build, and adds a milky, opaque outsole for a dash of classic flair.
The Blazer Mid '77 Vintage and Sky Force 3/4 "Red & Blue" are both scheduled to release on Nike SNKRS June 1. MSRP for each is $110 USD.
