Nike SB Blazer Mid Edge Is Back With More Sliced-Up Styles

After a "Hack Pack" released in December 2019, Nike SB has brought its conceptual SB Blazer Mid Edge back in two new makeups. Arriving in "Oracle Aqua" and "Obsidian Mist," the DIY-style skate kicks are awash in bright hues and offer a healthy dose of irreverence to boot.

Lateral side Swooshes are torn off of each pair, leaving nothing but their frayed outlines behind. They're moved to the toebox, where they wrap back around to the lateral side before colliding with a triangular suede overlay that rises up to the foremost eyestays. Meanwhile, the medial side is left relatively simple by comparison. Swooshes are present and accounted for in their standard spot, with stacked midsoles rising onto the upper around the heel. Finally, tongues are doubled up with textile and exposed foam, making for a look adjacent to sacai's stylish Blazer from 2019.

From a color standpoint, "Oracle Aqua" goes full vibrant on its sail base with embellishments ranging from bright blue to rich yellow and hot infrared — plus a subtle tan to ensure it's not overpowering. "Obsidian Mist" keeps things a little cooler, with a soft blue base and elegant gray/navy accents. Each pair is rounded off with a white rubber midsole and herringbone outsole.

The Nike SB Blazer Mid Edge "Oracle Aqua" and "Obsidian Mist" are both available now via Nike Japan. Each is priced at ¥ 11,000 JPY (approximately $103 USD).
